Looking to escape our very “reliable” British weather next summer?   Then look no more.  Tots Too has the perfect solution for you – Italy!  A country full of culture, beautiful scenery, white sandy beaches (Sardinia) and that all-too-important factor– the sun! At Tots Too we pride ourselves on making your family holiday stress-free.  Would you like a private transfer waiting for you to take you to your 5* luxury hotel?  Entertainment for your children?  Perhaps babysitting pre-booked giving you that well deserved night(s) off?  Then we can help.  We carefully handpick our collection of hotels and the properties that we offer in Italy are the crème de la crème.  Whether you are looking for one week in Sicily or two weeks in Sardinia or, even better, a holiday in both locations, then we have it all.  All suggested itineraries include flights, return private transfers and 7 nights’ accommodation based on either bed and breakfast or half board.  It is advisable to hire a car when holidaying in Italy and we can certainly arrange this on your behalf. Italy is not just a country to be explored during the summer months.  Its beauty can also be found all year round; in the lower seasons. So kick off your shoes, relax, browse through our selection of Italian hotels and call us, so that we can make your Italian dream come true.

Sicily

Just off the “toe” of Italy’s “boot”, this misleadingly small island has it all.  Rich in culture, exquisite architecture, food that will make your mouth water and beautiful beaches (some golden sand and some pebbly coves); Sicily is an island not be underestimated/ignored and the hotel that we have chosen is one of the best on the island.

The Verdura Resort, a reputable Rocco Forte hotel, is situated in a prime location; 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Palermo airport (Sicily’s capital), 20 minutes from Sciacca a fishing port and 1 hour from the city of Agrigento where you will find the “Valle dei Templi” (a Unesco world heritage site).  What is more the hotel offers its own unspoilt private coastline, 3 golf courses and uninterrupted sea views from your rooms (interconnecting options available).  Sicily is best explored by car, however that being said there is ample to do within the resort; ranging from golf to cooking to tennis.  Also, its own private beach provides endless entertainment with its numerous watersports and the hotel’s excellent kids club does not fail to disappoint.  Attention to detail is something that is truly valued when staying at the Verdura Resort.  The combination of what Sicily and the resort have to offer will make for an unforgettable family holiday!

Sardinia

Looking for a slice of heaven then pack your bags (including your snorkelling gear) and head over to Sardinia.  A mere 2 and a half hours’ flight and you will feel like you have landed in the Caribbean; with its breathtakingly, white sandy beaches and its crystal clear blue seas, there is no place like it.

Located just under an hour’s journey from Cagliari airport and offering excellent value for money (25% early booking offer and 10 nights for 9 nights (blackout dates may apply)), the Chia Laguna is an excellent choice.  This family friendly resort consists of 9 restaurants, 5 pools and 4 hotels.  The Chia Village accommodation ideal for families; offers a selection of rooms (interconnecting or mezzanine style) and is positioned around it owns pool.  The resort accommodates for children of all ages; a baby nursery (0-2 years old), a mini club (3-6 years old), a cadet club (7-10 years old), a junior club (11-13 years old) and an adventure club (14 – 17 years old) and even a kid’s restaurant.  Tennis, football, water sports and scuba diving are a few of the activities that your family can take part in.  What more could a parent want?

If looking to splash out and really treat yourself why not ask us to provide you with a supplement for a stay at the 5* hotel Laguna.

Puglia

Puglia an area less explored, which offers an all too authentic Italy; with its small, whitewashed hilltop villages steeped in history and beauty. This region in Italy is best explored by car (booked through us or hired locally for a couple of days).  Whether it be the historical town of Lecce or Alberobello with its Truilli Houses or simply Puglia’s beautiful coastline – the wonders of Puglia should not be missed.

Our chosen hotel in Puglia is the Borgo Egnazia (“Borgo” meaning village). Equidistance between both Brindisi and Bari airport this hotel makes for a great escape. A quick 50-minute transfer or drive and you arrive at what feels like a traditional, fairy-tale Pugliese village. The hotel is divided into three; La Corte (the main building), Il Borgo (the village) and the Villas.  Il Borgo is the preferred accommodation for families as it hosts its own family pool and is set around a piazza.  The hotel also offers a crèche (at an additional charge), a complimentary kids club, a kids-only restaurant and many exciting activities; cookery classes, tennis and thrilling watersports at the hotels beach club (a free shuttle service is provided) are to name a few.  All in all, this “destination hotel” ticks all the boxes for a very special family holiday.

Tuscany countryside

Tuscany is a region in Italy that should be on everyone’s bucket list.  Spending several nights in its cultural capital Florence followed by a dreamy week in the natural scenic beauty of the Tuscany countryside makes for a perfect family getaway.  Wine tasting for the parents, pizza making classes for the children or biking for the family; nothing beats the fresh air of the Tuscany countryside.

The magical Castello di Casole is a wonder in itself.  This castle is nestled in the heart of a vast Tuscan estate and offers numerous activities for the whole family to enjoy.  There may no be a kids club but fear no there are endless activities for your children to take part in.  Ranging from horseback riding to treasure hunting to a chocolate factory tour or even a family day out mountain biking or a day trip to Florence and/or Siena; there is not a dull moment at the Castello di Casole.  The hotel comprises of suites and villas; the latter is an excellent choice for families; where you can enjoy the privacy of a villa but also have access to 5 star hotel amenities.  This hotel is truly a hidden gem in the Tuscany countryside.
