About The Hotel

In a fantastic location with almost guaranteed snow from December to April, Arc 1950 Le Village is very difficult to beat. A unique village concept designed as an American style resort, everything is ski in and ski out and pedestrianised and there’s an impressive selection of restaurants within walking distance.  The spacious 5-star apartments are ideal for families who wish to self-cater in luxury with access to some of Europe’s best skiing.

Skiing in Arc 1950 offers access to the whole of Paradiski, the world’s second largest ski area encompassing the resorts of Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne which are linked by one of Europe’s largest cable cars, The Vanoise Express. The area is a huge playground at the entrance to the Vanoise National Park – a protected area of 53 000 hectares – with modern infrastructures, fast, comfortable lifts and a variety of areas for all styles and levels. All the residences are ski-in, ski-out, and you can relax after a hard day on the slopes in the Deep Nature Spa® which offers a range of wellness packages. There is also a heated whirlpool, fitness room, sauna, hammam, and access to four heated outdoor pools and an indoor/outdoor pool nearby.

All of the apartments at Arc 1950 Le Village have a full kitchenette including dishwasher as well as a living area with sofa bed and one, two or three bedrooms and are furnished to a high standard. Some apartments have direct access to the indoor-outdoor pool. Superior apartments have a better location within the resort.

Being completely pedestrianised, the resort of Les Arc is very easy to navigate and has a large selection of family-friendly restaurants. Arc 1950 Le Village offers families the opportunity to self-cater but if you don’t feel like cooking after a long day on the slopes there is a choice of restaurants nearby including the “1950” brasserie style restaurant and Hemingway’s serving international cuisine. The resort can arrange a flexible half board programme to dine at the local restaurants for all or part of your stay; alternatively you can have meals delivered to your apartment (when booked 24 hours in advance).

Arc 1950 Le Village has arguably the best childcare facilities of all the Les Arcs resorts. The streets here are pedestrianised and normally snow covered and there are two nursery slopes. The kids club in Arc 1950 (Cariboo Club) is located in the village centre. P’tit Caribou is for children aged 9 months to 3 years and offers a selection of both indoor and outdoor activities. The Cariboo Club, offering a range of activities including tobogganing, snow shoe excursions, mini-olympics and snow hockey is for children aged 3 to12 years and can be combined with ski lessons at Spirit 1950.
