Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas is a luxurious family-friendly refuge overlooking a fine white sand beach and backed by the lush vegetation of Sirinath National Park. By day you can embark on adventure walks and trekking through the dense jungle before returning to relax in your private pool villa. 91 private pool villas are dotted along the sand, each benefitting from spacious living and sleeping areas for families and contemporary design. The resort offers an array of activities, from diving in pristine waters to learning the ancient art of Thai cookery at Spice Spoons Cookery School as well as a range of child and family friendly facilities.

There is a large infinity pool to complement the private pools allocated to all villas, a spa offering traditional Thai treatments and an array of exercise and holistic wellness programmes. Spice Spoons Cookery School offers adults and children the chance to learn the secrets behind Thailand’s world-renowned cuisine and sporting activities include cycling, tennis, water sports, yoga and aerobics. There is also a fully-equipped fitness centre.

Nestled in-between lush gardens designed by Bill Bensley and the fine white sandy beach, each private Pool Villa at Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas features a minimum 186 square metres of space as well as a terrazzo tub large enough for two, an outdoor terrace area and private pool. The Two Bedroom Family Pool Villas overlook the lagoon and have a master bedroom with a king bed and a second bedroom with twin beds, as well as a private pool and expansive sun deck and for larger families the Two Bedroom Connecting Double Pool Villa offer an impressive 360 square metres of space and sleep up to eight.

Some of the best restaurants in Mai Khao serve up seafood cuisine, homemade pastas and elegant fine dining overlooking the sea. The beach restaurants range from a laid-back barbecue and cocktail bar by the infinity pool to the Dining by Design experiences which offer private dining in a spectacular setting. Sea.Fire.Salt. serves up a fiery beach side barbecue of the freshest fish and seafood, La Sala features live cooking stations and a host of Asian and western favourites and The Tree House serves Thai fusion tapas and is accessed by a spiral staircase wrapped around an aged Banyan Tree.

The Turtle Club caters for children aged 4 – 12 and an experienced coordinator plans entertaining and educational projects every day.
