About The Hotel
This award-winning resort rests on two islands, linked by a bridge, offering barefoot luxury and stunning lagoon views. The unique all-glass undersea Ithaa restaurant offers a glimpse into the colourful marine life. The tranquillity of the islands is wonderful for relaxation, whilst there’s still lots to do for active kids.
Whether it’s snorkelling in warm waters, experiencing a dolphin safari or pirate games at the kids club, there is a range of varied activities for children of all ages. The littlest ones will love the white sands and children’s pool, over-8s can try the Bubblemaker diving club and teenagers are catered for with live music and video games. The resort is surrounded by soft sand all round, making it a safe, gentle place to play.
There are miles of private white sandy beach, just choose a hammock under the palms or stretch out on the wooden sunbeds. The resort staff will provide cool water sprays, fresh coconuts, snacks and cold drinks. With one of the worlds best dive sites beneath the waters, you can explore the unspoilt reefs and exotic sea life. All levels are welcome, with PADI qualified, multilingual instructors on hand.
The resort offers 8 restaurants and 4 bars and the award-winning Chinese chef Jereme Leung’s Ufaa is now the hotel’s flagship restaurant. Conrad Maldives continues to offer the largest wine list in the region with over 20,000 bottles of approximately 1,400 labels in The Wine Cellar, built two metres underground.
The Spa Retreat is set on stilts over the sea, with glass-floored rooms so you can gaze at the coral whilst indulging in your treatments. After a Thai massage or mineral body mask, you can step into the whirlpool bath at the outdoor lounge. Theres an idyllic yoga pavilion by the lagoon and a two-storey gym centre offering classes and personal training.

"We had a brilliant time in the Maldives.
1. Tots Too - just what we needed! In fact, I'm already scanning your destinations and cross-referencing that with some of our dreams and seeing where we may go next! It is wonderful to have the value-add of viewing all of these resorts from a family perspective.
2. The Conrad -
The seaplane is just fabulous. The only glamorous flying left I imagine! We were whisked away as soon as we left customs in a private comfy van to a well-appointed lounge where we were greated with complimentary massages while we awaited our next flight. So much fun!
The deluxe villa was perfect for our family. We fell in love with the magic-garden outdoor bathroom suite. As we were in suite 221 we were ideally located on the leeward side of the island (that was lucky as it was quite windy when we were there) just off from the best snorkelling at the resort, just a few meters from the beach. Having our 'own' beach with dreamy snorkelling, and our own little pool, just could not have been better with small kids. Such privacy.
The food in the main restaurant was mixed - some was great, some was just so-so.
The undersea restaurant is amazing. They gave my 3-yr old bread rolls to use as fish food in between courses so that she didn't get restless. Lots of fish, lovely food.
We went to two of the other restaurants and found the food there to be of a good standard. We loved our evening of the Wine Cellar dinner - it was so much fun.
The best thing we did was the All Day Cruise, which ended up to be the most incredible thing as no one else booked and we had a 100ft yacht and crew to ourselves. We visited a local island, went fishing and spent hours on a beach on a deserted island. Incredible.
The resort offers scuba experiences for kids as young as 5 - a big hit with our son! And their kiddie spa is very well done. Our kids did an hour or two each day in the kids' club and had a blast.
Their service was very good, but could be improved as regards feedback on cancellations - with the wind a few things were cancelled and we often didn't know until when we were heading out the door to the event. But not a trainsmash. Thank you again!"
