About The Hotel

Located above the ski resort of Lech, Oberlech is an excellent family-friendly resort and one of the most exclusive destinations in the Alps, 1700m above sea level and offering perfectly groomed pistes and access to the world-renowned Arlberg region with its first class winter sports. The Goldener Berg itself is a traditional ski in ski out hotel with access to 182km of ski slopes and great family facilities including an on-site kids club and family rooms.

Goldener Berg’s Alpin Spa offers parents a Finnish Sauna, a Bio-Sauna and steam bath as well as a range of relaxing post-ski treatments. There’s an indoor pool with panoramic window overlooking the Arlberg as well as an outdoor Jacuzzi and even a trampoline and small gym!

Rooms range from studios to Family Suites, which are ideal for two adults and two children with two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living and dining area. For even more space there is the Chalet Suite with a larger living area and kitchen or the Family Apartment with full kitchen. Extra beds can be added to all rooms.

There’s a choice of four restaurants including Johannestubli which serves healthy organic cuisine, Dirndlstübli, a traditional Austrian restaurant offering specialities such as “Wiener Schnitzel” and sweet pastries, a BBQ terrace and the main restaurant which caters for adults and kids alike with familiar dishes such as pizza and lasagne.

The Goldener Berg kids club is open in winter from 9am until 1pm and again from 4pm until 9pm and is divided into two age groups, with children aged 3 – 5 attending the “Kinder Club” and children aged 6 – 12 enjoying separate activities or the nearby ski school. The younger ones learn the enjoyment of snow, skis and skiing, getting used to ski equipment, and both age groups can also enjoy snowman building, tobogganing, children vs parents snowball fights, animal trails and snow tubing. Evenings are characterised by hot chocolate and singing before bed. Babysitting is also available as an additional service on request.
