  • SR 20 August 2011 "I wanted to thank you first off for the lovely spa voucher that you arranged for me at the Kempinski. I had a wonderful Hamam treatment at the spa there which was much appreciated. So thank you again.

We had another great holiday at the Kempinski Barbaros Bay, all of the good things about the hotel remained the same, great location and restaurants, superb spa, good kids club etc.. We did feel this time that perhaps there had been a few cut backs as there were some hiccups in the service relating to housekeeping and also the kids club girls were less 'visible' in the kids restaurant at breakfast and dinner (on one night there was only one kids club girl around for a short time and she finished early as she was booked for babysitting, so no kids club dinner cover, which was a shame as M loved having dinner in 'her' restaurant and being all grown up and joining Mummy and Daddy on the terrace later..). Also, kids club has started to charge for some activities (sand art and glitter tattoos) without any prior notice, and a little on the pricey side. So we had to limit how many glitter tattoos that M was given. Otherwise the kids club girls were as professional and caring as they were last year and M loved the pizza / cookie making and other activities and enjoyed popping in for a play.

It remains a very smart place for a holiday (lots of well heeled French drinking champagne each night!) and we would consider going back again in the future."
