About The Hotel

The Nira Alpina is located in a superb slope-side location on the Corvatsch side of St Moritz.  This modern hotel offers excellent value for money in one of the most exclusive resorts in Europe and is just metres away from the ski lift which will allow families to beat the crowds each and every morning! There is a kids club and nearby ski school which also has its own creche. With easy access into St Moritz town, Nira Alpina is a great choice for a Swiss ski trip.

The spa and relaxation room offer a range of treatments and there is also a well-equipped gym, sauna and whirlpool. As the resort is directly connected to Corvatsch cable car station skiers, snowboarders and winter hikers can rapidly reach the highest mountain station in the eastern Alps. As a change from skiing and snowboarding, spend time hiking, sledding, ice-skating, bobsleighing, horse riding, ice polo playing, hang gliding, sky diving or Nordic walking.

All rooms and suites feature a large terrace or balcony and panoramic windows overlooking the Engadin mountains. Natural materials such as Swiss Spruce, Italian stone and suede are used and hi-tech amenities include a flat-screen TV showing 87 channels, an iPod docking station and free Wi-Fi. Each modern granite bathroom has a deep bath and waterfall shower. We recommend the Alpine Junior Suite for families, or connecting rooms for more space.

The restaurants at Nira Alpina serve natural, fresh cuisine with most ingredients farmed, caught, raised or bred within a few kilometres. Service is efficient and relaxed, delivered with an unfussy charm. Dining choices include international restaurant Stars which has panoramic views of the lakes and mountains, the Italian Trattoria and Bistro which serves healthy dishes and a variety of kids’ options.

The Kids Club is open between 9am and 9pm during busy periods such as school holidays and has been recently renovated, with lots of games, a multilingual library and indoor entertainment for all ages.  The nearby ski school also has a creche for children between 3 and 4 years old equipped with magic carpets, a ski carousel and a children’s rope tow lift.  Children aged 5 and up can improve their technique with daily lessons.
