About The Hotel

Surrounded by an ecological reserve on Mexico’s Mayan Riviera, the All Inclusive Occidental Grand Xcaret is a large family resort overlooking a pristine coastline and with an impressive variety of amenities. The resort is next to the eco-archeological Xcaret Park and is centered around winding river channels, free-form pools and a private beach with powder-soft white sand on a quiet cove. At the Xcaret Park, families can explore the remains of a Mayan village, snorkel through ancient caves and underwater gardens, swim with dolphins, or observe jaguars, butterflies, tropical birds and other indigenous species in their natural habitat. The Royal Club Grand Xcaret offers an upgrade to include additional facilities within the resort and concierge services.

Included in the All-Inclusive programme are archery, mini golf, tennis and volleyball as well as a fully equipped gym, dance and aerobic classes. The resort can arrange excursions to Tulum, Xel Ha and Chichen Itzá and there is diving as well as a golf course nearby. There are no less than five swimming pools including a children’s pool at the kids club and two huge free form pools surrounded by palm trees and tropical vegetation. The spa specialises in treatments using traditional local methods and ingredients and in-room massage is available.

The large Deluxe rooms sleep up to two adults and two children and have a balcony or terrace with a spacious bathroom. For more space, we recommend the Junior Suites which have a bedroom with large open-plan living area with sofa bed or the Royal Club Junior Suites which have a separate living area with sofa bed. The Royal Club Master Suites have two bedrooms and a living room with dining space for larger families. An upgrade to the Grand Concierge Deluxe rooms offers additional services and amenities including a welcome fruit basket and bottle of wine, concierge service and a stocked mini-bar.

There are eleven restaurants, including five a la carte options, serving a variety of local and international dishes with special menus for children. Sonora Grill is a steak and grill house serving fish and meat grills with a Mexican twist, Los Olivos offers Mediterranean dishes and La Hacienda specialises in local Mexican cuisine. Kids will love the pizza restaurant and casual tacos restaurant and parents can enjoy a romantic dinner at El Pescador fish restaurant or D’Oriental Asian fusion. There are also ten bars serving cocktails, juices and ice creams throughout the day and evening.

There is a complimentary kids club open daily for children aged 4 – 12 years and the programme of activities will go down very well with children of all ages. Babysitting is available on request and there is also a complimentary baby concierge service when you book a club room, including bottle steriliser, high chair and baby bouncer or beach play items for toddlers.
