About The Hotel

With the romance of old Arabia, One&Only Royal Mirage is a castle-like resort rising out of the desert, overlooking the clear waters of Palm Island bay. There are arches, domes and towers interspersed with flowers, greenery and its own extensive private beach. With every comfort and convenience, allow the team at Royal Mirage to pamper your family.

There are two kids centres on the resort, with a full programme of entertainment and activities offered daily. Tailored to various ages, activities include camel riding, henna painting, belly dancing, sand sculpturing, evening Arabian camping and more. Also in the area, active kids will love the Wild Wadi waterpark, indoor ski slope and go-karting. Teens can try aqua gym sports, Hobiecat sailing instruction, basketball, golf putting tournaments, water-skiing and windsurfing, just to name a few.

For restaurants you can choose from grand to casual, with a range of cuisines such as Indo-European dining, modern with an Asian twist, rooftop Oriental mezzehs or experience a coastal dining cruise to admire the skyline. The lavish, ‘Arabian Court’ plays host to three restaurants, The Rotisserie, Nina and Eauzone.

The menu at Rotisserie matches its interior, traditional and European. though the warm colours and Arabic lanterns will remind you that you’re still in Dubai. Enjoy classics in their purest form. The whole roasted chicken with sauteed new potatoes, confit tomato and rosemary jus. Nina’s new wave Indo-European dining is an exciting contrast to the Rotisserie. It offers a contemporary blend of spicy and exotic flavours to excite the palate. The third restaurant in the court, Eauzone offers yet another different experience with it’s decks floating on water. As the name suggests, This pool and seaside eatery has an aqua theme with clean metalic and nautical furnishings. The food is light stylish and modern with an Asian twist.

Rich furnishing is blended with every day convenience to make your stay at The Royal Mirage as enjoyable as possible. There is accommodation perfect for you somewhere on the 65 acre private grounds. There are interconnecting rooms available for families smaller families. Bigger families will be well suited to the Arabian Suites which offer their own private balcony or terrace as well as stunning views of Palm Bay. The architecture of the rooms is of an oriental style and offers space and comfort in equal measure. Please contact us with any questions on the best accommodation for your family.

Adventurous spirits will grab the chance for a full-day 4×4 desert safari, a ride on a camel or a surf on the sand dunes. At the resort there are floodlit tennis courts, beautiful pools, a putting green, petanque, volleyball and basketball. Down at the beach theres sailing, kayaking, Hobie Cats, windsurfing, water-skiing and excellent deep sea fishing. Venture deep into the desert for horse-riding or desert dining, or just explore the spectacular shopping malls.

Housed in a palatial setting is the Givenchy Spa, traditional Oriental Hammam, the Chiropody & Pedicure Centre, Zouari Hair Salon, and a state-of-the-art Fitness Centre. The Hammam is a haven of space, warmth and comfort, with heated massage tables, steam rooms, sauna, whirlpools and jet showers. The Givenchy spa has 12 treatment rooms and a full menu of beauty and wellbeing treatments.

  • MF 18 June 2014 "We had the most fantastic holiday. Can you please pass on your thanks to your Dubai expert as the split of the holiday between both hotels was just perfect and absolutely enhanced our whole holiday. The only thing was the temperature but we were aware it was getting warmer at that time of year so as much as I could see us going there again it would be at a different time of year. I would go back to the same hotels again in a heart beat too! Emirates were first class also, and accommodated our son fantastically. I would score this holiday as a 5 out of 5, but with a temperature warning for this time of year. We were just sensible about it and the Atlantis in particular had a wealth of indoor activities available to us.

Thanks again, and we are always recommending you!"

  • SR 04 November 2013 "Another fantastic holiday at the Royal Mirage in Dubai.  Everything went really well.  Once again the Kids Club there did a great job and we were very happy with the room on a higher floor.  5 out of 5 !

Even the spa voucher worked this time !  The trick is to tell Maria the spa manager and to tell the Reception on the same day so they can both email each other about it.  Thank you very much for that as I enjoyed a lovely facial.

We will be booking again for October next year.  Once I get the holiday dates I'll be in touch.

I have also  recommended you to two families"

  • SR 08 February 2012 "We are delighted with our stay at the Royal Mirage, Arabian Court. The hotel continues to be impressive on every level; food, service, our room, the grounds, the spa all first class. We were very impressed with the Kids Club and often had difficulty getting our 6 year old daugther out of the club to spend time with us! The staff were friendly and attentive, and the range of activities for her was great. Indeed it seemed that activities for all age groups were well catered for both on and off the beach. She particularly enjoyed the kids only evening dinners and discos, and the camel & pony riding. Whilst chatting to other parents, we noticed that many were 'repeat customers' at the hotel and we can understand why.

Please pass on our thanks to the Royal Mirage, we shall definitely be returning when we next visit Dubai.

Thanks again to you Helen for getting this deal for us, we especially appreciated the upgrade to half board."
