About The Hotel

Situated on Dubai’s Palm Jumeriah Island, Sofitel Dubai The Palm is a unique luxury resort designed to a sunny Polynesian island theme, with vertical gardens, fresh flowers, artworks and luminous interiors. In addition to hotel rooms and suites there are luxurious apartments which provide extra space and comfort for families.  Set on a private beach away from the hustle and bustle of mainland Dubai, there is a kids club and other activities on offer include sky diving, cruising, fishing, golf and desert safaris.

The private 500 m beach and jetty plus a choice of swimming pools (indoor and outdoor, both heated) and tennis courts are just some of the family friendly facilities. The Aquaventure water park, one of the largest of Europe and the Middle East, is less than half a mile away and offers adrenalin pumping waterslides that catapult you through shark infested lagoons and more! The hotel’s spa covers 2,500 square metres and encompasses a sauna, steam room and 28 treatment rooms. There’s also a high-tech gym and water sports on the beach.

Chic Polynesian décor brings a sunny island feel to 237 guest rooms (many with connecting options), each with a MyBed and private balcony. The luxury apartments have one or two bedrooms plus fully equipped kitchen, dining area, washing machine, bathroom with bathtub and rain shower and Lanvin amenities. The three bedroom beach villas have access to a private pool terrace and butler service.

There are eight distinct restaurants – from a French open kitchen to all-day dining to seafood and snacks on the beach. Airy terraces allow you to dine under the Dubai sun or stars. Studio du Chef offers gourmet French food with show cooking, Porterhouse Steaks and Grills has a large outdoor terrace and there are also Italian, Chinese and Polynesian restaurants. Amura is a relaxed kids’ restaurant where children can go wild over healthy, kid-friendly meals and drinks in proper-sized portions. Located in the Kids Club, it has all the facilities you need for family meals, from high chairs to child-friendly cutlery.

The Kids Club (ages 4 – 12 years) is open daily and children can create fun projects using simple materials, learn how to juggle the Polynesian way, or play drums as hard and loud as they want all under the supervision of qualified staff. Babysitting is also available on request.

Sofitel Dubai The Palm is somewhat unique in a world class resort which can sometimes neglect larger families’ accommodation needs. The connecting rooms plus the quality apartments, as well as the great facilities and location, make it one of the most family-friendly properties in Dubai.
