We had a lovely time and it was certainly a great resort with spectacular views! The villa was lovely, as was the pool and the maid service a real luxury. Everyone was very kind and hospitable. We used the gym a lot which was also great.
A few points – the beach is really small and man made… it got pretty jammed inevitably. The food in the Buffet was very good at breakfast but less so at dinner. Pretty much the same every night and not especially inspiring. The a la carte restaurant was especially disappointing and very over priced for what it is.
But all in all we had a great time. Thank you so much for your efficiency and help in selecting it and smoothing the booking process. We will certainly be recommending you and your service to our friends!

"We had an amazing time at St Nicolas Bay in Crete, thank you for the recommendation. There were quite a few like minded couples there with their first child which was just great. The hotel certainly retains a boutique feel whilst still welcoming children with wide open arms. The staff were just fantastic with our 8 month old son, especially as he was getting to grips with eating solids and, did make a bit of a mess but you were never made to feel that this was a problem and all of the staff were just so child friendly and welcoming.
The small beach has lovely gentle waves so our son was happy sitting in the wash playing and it was a very safe beach. The kids pool was also great, and there were adequate opportunities to take cover under shade. The only downside to the hotel, in relation to travelling with a child, is the fact that there are steps everywhere but you soon get into the swing of it and figure out routes with the least amount of steps.
The food and service were flawless and we were very happy with our sea view suite. The cot and steriliser provided by the hotel were perfect and the transfers included the appropriate car seats so it was nice to know you were being looked after. We also hired a car, through the hotel, for the day and explored the North East coast of Crete which I would recommend doing. I had a massage in the hotel spa and the same high standards of service continued there, very impressed.
We would certainly recommend St Nicolas Bay, and Tots Too to anyone. We're already wondering what to do next year. Thanks again"

"Overall we had a great holiday but there was one issue with the villa which is something to consider if you have 2 families with young children there again. One of the bedrooms can only be accessed from outside (across a small patio from 2 other bedrooms). After a few days we decided to put the children in the 'outside' room as the door could be locked from the outside but this still meant that we had to get up when the baby was crying, go across the patio, unlock their door in order to attend to them.
This is unlikely to be an issue for parents who have older children but worth considering for parents such as ourselves so you could recommend other villas which may not have this feature.
As I said we did have a great holiday despite this detail - the manager of the hotel was incredibly accomodating, Yvonne in the creche was fantastic and the service was great."

"Well we are back (and very depressed) we absolutely loved the hotel and the staff were brilliant - the rooms were perfect and the location breathtaking.
Very impressed with the service you offered. You found us exactly what we wanted (and desperately needed!) without a doubt I will be calling you again."

"We had a lovely stay at St Nicolas Bay - a seriously classy hotel. We were thrilled to be upgraded to a stunning 3-bed villa, with own garden, infinity pool and wonderful views. It was very helpful to have our own kitchen (especially with washing machine) but the film star staying in the villa next door was a bonus!
The villas were set away from the main action, making them private and quiet, but on the downside it meant a longish walk with the kids down to the main pool and beach. The villa pool was a bit salty but they loved the inbuilt jacuzzi and used it a lot anyway.
We were welcomed in our villa with champagne, a huge plate of pastries and bowl of fruit - a lovely touch, so thank you.
The main pool was great, very sociable. The beach was small, but not crowded as so many people chose sunloungers on the terraces overlooking the sea instead. One day we hired a boat and took it once round the island, which was great fun.
My boys (9 & 7) did not try out the kids club but they loved the table tennis and table football in the games room, which was sited conveniently near to the pool. This meant that we could plant ourselves on a sun lounger, watch our toddler paddle in the pool whilst the boys came and went as they pleased (heaven!).
Overall the staff were absolutely charming: courteous, attentive and professional. The grounds and accommodation were immaculate. The real star of the show though was the amazing view, and the bluest sea in the world!"

"Hi, we have just got back from our holiday to St Nicolas Bay Hotel and wanted to drop you a mail to let you know what a wonderful time we had there.
To be honest I don't really know what to say. We just had such a wonderful time. The hotel was all you said it would be and more so thank you for that. We were actually put into rooms with full sea views near to the ledges by the sea. I think this was because we had booked through you as opposed to someone like Thompson and I'm so glad that we did. The week we were there the hotel was full but you would not have known. As there was different places to go, by the pool, on the little beach or the ledges overlooking the sea no where was crowded and you could always find a sunbed or a place to be but still having some space from other people.
The Spa was wonderful and our treatments amazing. The girl was lovely and friendly and just made everything relaxed and wonderful (which seems to be a word I am using alot to describe this holiday!).
Thank you very much for talking to me about this hotel and helping us make up our mind. We would definitely go back again and recommend it to anyone.
I was hoping you might be able to help me with something. We would like to get in contact with George the Barman of the Bonaccia Cocktail Bar to thank him personally for helping make our holiday special. He was very friendly and his customer service and attention to detail was faultless. We were hoping to be able to get his surname to drop him a note to thank him and also ask him about some Cretan music he had played for us one night, as I can't seem to find it on the internet.
Thank you again for all your help with everything and we may well be looking to book again to go back next year!!"
- SB 22 August 2010 "In a nutshell we just couldn’t fault the place!! The service was outstanding; the staff were so courteous and nothing was too much trouble. We had a wonderful suite which looked straight out onto the sea with a little terrace area for us to enjoy a pre-dinner drink. The extensive breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day, and we thought their other restaurants also served delicious food (particularly the The Greek Kafenion and The Labyrinthos), and the nighttime bar at the waters edge with George the barman was great fun. I had a full body massage in their penthouse treatment room and was so relaxed afterwards I was unable to move for about 15 minutes!! We didn’t actually end up using the Kids Club because Charlie and Hannah had so much fun either in the pool or at the beach. All in all, it was the perfect location for a family holiday, and thank you so much for recommending and assisting us with the booking."
