The Peninsula Bangkok has a three tiered swimming pool with views over the Chao Phraya River and there is a spa with treatments combining Oriental and Ayurvedic treatments as well as a fitness centre and tennis court. The Peninsula Academy has a range of programmes designed to give families unique access to historical, cultural and local lifestyle experiences, from a one-on-one Muay Thai class on the banks of the Chao Phraya River to exotic cooking classes.

All rooms at the Peninsula Bangkok have views of the Chao Phraya River and the city beyond. Some rooms offer landscaped balconies where families can relax and enjoy the views and the river breezes. Richly furnished in Thai silk-clad finishes and indulgent marble bathrooms, rooms combine classic luxury with the latest Peninsula high-tech amenities. The generously-sized Deluxe Rooms are the entry level room and at 47 square metres can accommodation up to 2 adults and 1 child. For larger families, the Deluxe Rooms can connect to each other or to a suite, which offers two bedrooms plus a living room.

There is a  choice of four restaurants plus the pool bar which serves cocktails and snacks. Mei Jiang serves Cantonese cuisine overlooking the gardens, Thipatara is a unique Thai dining experience overlooking the river and the River Cafe and Terrace serves international cuisine for lunch and dinner. For families who prefer to explore a little and try some local restaurants, you can catch a ferry across the river to Asiatique, an area of restaurants and shops.

Peninsula Family Moments is s specially designed package which offers special discounts and fun for children under 12. As well as a 50% discount on an adjoining room for children, there is also a complimentary children’s menu and a range of amenities and programmes tailored just for junior guests, including The Peninsula Kids’ Academy’s collection of fun cultural activities. The Family Academy programme, which allows both parents and children to spend memorable moments together while bonding over arts and crafts, is also available.
