"An impressively large lobby with impossibly high ceilings greets you as you walk into the reception of this hotel. The whole hotel has a feeling of openness and space, so that the outside seems to blend seamlessly with the inside of the hotel.
Mahogany furniture and antiques adorn the walls and public areas of the hotel adding to the Colonial feel and lush gardens link all parts of the resort. Central to the hotel is a large multi tiered swimming pool which leads to the main lounge, bar and restaurant area and down to the lovely stretch of white sand. This is a focal point to the hotel where parents and children can easily while away the day moving from one area to another.
Down in the basement of the hotel, I was shown around the award winning spa, which is Oriental in style and exuded a real sense of peace and tranquillity in very stylish setting. A myriad of treatments are available and group classes for yoga, tai chi and other exercise regimes are offered in the adjoining studio.
Tucked away amongst the trees we discovered the children’s club which was like a little house in the woods. Plenty of indoor and outdoor shaded space and a range of activities allow parents some well earned relaxation time.
This is a truly family friendly hotel and as I was shown around the hotel, it was evident that low the staff were enjoying interacting with guests' children – I even saw the waiter at the beachside restaurant, playing hide and seek with some young children!
Rooms are all spacious at this hotel and decorated in a very classic, but appealing style. For children, there are lovely little touches such as mini robes and slippers and the butler will even run a petal strewn bath for the children."

"Thank you Ann Marie - We had a wonderful time. The Residence surpasses expectations and the staff were wonderful.
We had the same nanny for the duration of the stay which the kids enjoyed; the kid's club was full of activities that the children loved.
I have mentioned Tots Too to a number of friends and hopefully you will be hearing from them!"

"I have to say that your recommendation of the Residence for a holiday was superb. Although the flight to Mauritius is long for a young family it was well worth the journey. As a family it was probably the most relaxing holiday we have been on to date. The hotel was superbly geared towards families with young children and we enjoyed being able to use all the facilities so both S and I could relax knowing that all the family were enjoying themselves.
I think the lasting memory I will have of my stay there was just how much effort the staff put in to make you feel welcome and ensure that you have the perfect holiday. Nothing seemed too much trouble and everything was done with a smile on the face. That makes such a big difference to the way we feel about staying somewhere. The beach facilities were amazing and although we didn't venture down to the sailing club much until our second week, we made the most of waterskiing, sailing and snorkelling. The kids loved playing in the sand and being taken out for rides in the boat.
The pool complex was truly amazing and kept the children entertained for many hours playing with the other kids. In fact my 2 year old has come on leaps and bounds since that holiday so that is a success in itself. There was always a security guy at the pool keeping an eye out, so it did mean that you could be a little more relaxed about reading your book while they all played.
There are too many great things to say about our holiday. the weather was amazing 25-30 degrees every day. It rained a bit but not much, and we met some really lovely people some of which I even worked with (small world).
Thanks again for sorting this out. We would love to go back one day."

We have just got back from a 10 day stay at The Residence in Mauritius and I just wanted to let you know that we had a fabulous time. The organisation by yourselves and Mauritours was flawless making it all very stress free, the hotel was brilliant, it is incredibly child friendly, the rooms were fab, the food was great (and they were very flexible when it came to the kids), the beach clean and the pools well maintained. The weather was a little patchy, but considering we were there in winter we can't complain, I've still managed to get a lovely tan! We did venture out to the crocodile park (through Mauritours) and that was a big hit with the kids. My husband and I also made good use of the spa, the massages were excellent and I used the personal trainer for private pilates sessions which was a real treat.
We would definitely go back, and we're already thinking about what holiday to book next with Tots Too. Thank you."
