Cobblers Cove is set on one of Barbados' quietest beaches with beautiful unspoilt views over the sea. A member of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux, Cobblers Cove offers the charm and elegance of an English country house with the tropical beauty and character of Barbados.

For the family

Indoors or outside, there is lots for little ones to do. There's an excellent Arts & Crafts programme, where kids can create collages and jewellery from stones and seashells scavenged from the beach, or make shadow puppets and later present a shadow puppet production for their parents. The well-resourced centre offers paints, crayons, and stencils, as well as a library of children's books, a toy library and bean bags for reading. There are child-friendly excursions to the Animal Sanctuary, Flower Forest, Ocean Park, and Graham Hall Nature Reserve. Kids can swim with sea turtles, hibiscus-hunt in the lush gardens and explore the natural grounds where mongoose and monkeys scamper about.

Dining

The award winning Terrace Restaurant overlooks the Caribbean Sea, with live music accompanying (but not intruding upon) the superb dining. The staff take pride in the fact that it is one of only 5 restaurants in the Caribbean to become a member of the Relais & Chateaux organisation. There is also an extensive wine list that is certainly worth a closer look.

Accommodation

Tastefully designed suites suit every guest’s needs. Set amidst three acres, 10 two-story cottages house four suites each; and the Great House features the opulent Camelot and Colleton suites.

The resort merges classical English style with the casual comfort of the Caribbean. All of the furnishings are made on-island, with traditional fabrics warmed by Caribbean colours and accents. Each suite features a spacious living area with a private balcony or terrace that allows you to enjoy the tranquil setting. Every bedroom is complemented with air-conditioning, ceiling fan and a wet bar, fully stocked with refreshments and light snacks.
