About The Hotel

There are many unique touches to this privately managed resort, in addition to all the luxuries of a 5-star hotel there’s a private farm in Alentejo (Herdade dos Grous) estate producing award-winning wines and breeding horses. The stunning Moorish architecture is set in extensive tropical gardens, filled with pools and lakes. Whatever the age of your children, there are fantastic facilities to keep them entertained.

Even babies and toddlers are made at home at Natalie’s crèche, with gentle play and a separate sleeping area for a siesta. Annabellas kids park offers an adventure playground for ages 4 -11, as well as a supervised playroom for painting, handicrafts and baking. Older children and teenagers can visit nearby attractions such as Slide & Splash waterpark, Zoomarine (with dolphins and seals) and the Aquashow (waterpark and parrot show). There are also surfing lessons and volleyball down on the beach.

You are completely spoilt for choice when dining at Vila Vita Parc. A wide range of restaurants are dotted around the resort offering food for any occasion be that a smart dinner or a casual lunch. The Michelin starred Ocean Restaurant provides guests with a memorable dining experience.

Larger parties tend to stay in Oasis Parc, which is kitted out with all the facilities a family needs. The scenery is beautiful and it’s a great place to relax and unwind.

The resort offers a range of activities both on site and nearby. Golfers can try the 9-hole par3 layout pitch & putt course on a cliff-top setting with breathtaking coastal views. There are 3 tennis courts, with instruction on hand. Down at Armacao de Pera beach there’s volleyball, pedaloes, sailing, windsurfing and diving (June to September). Explore the region on horseback, mountain bike, canoe or on a jeep safari. Down on the beach there’s volleyball, pedaloes, sailing, windsurfing and diving (June – September). Take a cruise in the hotels private yacht with Captain Jose or try a typical fishermans boat to visit caves and grottoes. Sight-seeing excursions further afield can also be arranged.

At the Vila Vita Vital health and beauty center, set in lush gardens, there is an extensive menu of treatments ranging from the indulgent to the therapeutic. Try a four-handed abhyanga massage, cranial-sacral therapy, or a simple anti-ageing facial, to name just a few.

  • MO & CO- travelled August 2015 12 August 2015 "It was very cool. I was really impressed by the hotel. It had the best service of any hotel that we've been to in Europe. The children had a wonderful time and enjoyed going to the club where again the staff were outstanding. I really felt that I was able to unwind on this holiday. Food was excellent. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Fab service from you as always."

  • JS- travelled June 2010 23 June 2010 "We've just returned from a wonderful holiday at Vila Vita Parc The staff are incredible, very personable and determined to make visitors feel welcome. Excellent customer service is apparent throughout the entire operation of the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble - and in the true spirit of a five star location, the staff seemed to anticipate any needs. Breakfast was lovely, lunch around the pool was great and dinner in the resturant Bela Vita was superb. Our little boy was treated like a little prince!

We never felt the need to leave the hotel. Mini golf was a treat - and, there's a large, well-equipped and well maintained outdoor play centre with great equipment, in a location well shaded from the sun. The Kids Club is absolutely brilliant. My little boy is normally reluctant to go to Kids Club, but here we had a job to get him out - with large, spacious facilites, excellent games and facilites - all manned by extremely competent staff.
Younger guests and older guests all seemed to get along fine - there's plenty of room and facilities for everyone to enjoy the perfect holiday.
We travelled with Tots Too, the family travel specialists. They arranged free transfers from and to the airport, with the correct car seat and all other details thought through. This is our second break with Tots Too (we had a blissful week in November at Tenerife's Hotel Abama) and we highly recommend them. They offer a great, personalised service."

  • SL- travelled June 2010 11 June 2010 "We had such a fantastic time. We would like to thank you especially for sorting out those great rooms, 204 & 205. The best possible rooms for us. If we would ever go there again, that's were we would want to stay again!

We loved the hotel. The settings, lush gardens and the beach were beautiful. Our daughter loved the kids club too.

The only downside was the inaccessibility of some areas with our buggy as well as the poor quality of the kids food. For a hotel that serves such fantastic food to us adults it was a shame to get mostly only frozen and processed food for the kids. Our 4 year old daughter does appreciate freshly cooked food as much as we do and she did struggle to eat anything served to her. To pay €9 for a plate of processed fish fingers (not even fillet) with chips (no greens on side) was not acceptable.

Also, sharing the hotel and pool with lots of Germans (I'm one myself) it is frustrating to see them putting their towels down at 7am in the morning even though they only show up at 10am after breakfast. At a hotel of this class I would expect different. With a new baby we had a slightly different schedule than other families and we found it frustrating to come to the pool in the afternoon and not being able to get a lounger, even though many of them were only reserved by towels and books but no occupants in sight for hours.

Anyways, we had an absolutely lovely time and would happily go there again. Thanks so much for organising."
