The Mazagan Beach Resort is the new luxury 5 star destination in Morocco. Only an hour from Casablanca and just minutes from the historical town of El Jadida, this deluxe retreat is close enough to experience some of Morocco’s beautiful cities, but distanced enough to fully relax amidst the tranquillity of the Moroccan coast. Spanning 250 hectares, the resort covers 7km of golden sandy beach, spectacular landscaped gardens and overlooks the breathtaking Atlantic Ocean.

For the family

The Mazagan is a family-friendly resort, with several clubs welcoming children of all ages. The Baby Club opens its door to children from 3 months to 4 years old, providing educational activities, sports and even scheduled naps. Extra babysitting services are also available. The Kidz Club offers children aged 4 to 12 daily activities around the resort and the beach. There is also a private swimming pool for the kids to use and the opportunity to go horseback riding in nearby Doukkala. The Rush Club is an incredible place for teens to hang out, offering various activities including video games on big screen TVs, assorted sports and a weekend disco.

Dining

There are eight restaurants on the resort to choose from, each combining Moroccan gastronomy with first class world cuisine for an excellent and authentic dining experience. Of the eight, there are three fantastic a la carte restaurants to choose from, Majorna, Sel De Mer and the Club House. The red and orange Majorna is cosy and homely. It blends traditional techniques with modern ideas to produce anything from famous tajines and seafood pastillas to couscous royal and kebabs, or delicious pastries. In contrast the Sel De Mer is slick and clean creating the perfect dining atmosphere for families. The Peri peri chicken comes well recommended. For dessert you can enjoy refreshing sorbets and a range of fresh fruits. If you're a golf fanatic The Club House is ideal for a little nourishment before a round or for celebrating the winning birdie. Lunch is served inside, or on the terrace, overlooking the breaking waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

Accommodation

Family friendly accommodation is widely available at Mazagan with two interconnecting rooms on offer, one with a king-size bed and the other with two twin beds. Perfect for a family of four! The decor is inspired by the Arabic Moorish style but utilises modern furnishings to make rooms comfortable, warm and sophisticated at the same time. The rooms have all the amenities you would expect of a luxury resort such as satellite television, internet wi-fi connection and wonderful views.
