About The Hotel

Chia Laguna, located in southern Sardinia, is comprised of three hotels, offering a range of accommodation choices for families.  Stylish and elegant Hotel Laguna, the only 5-star hotel in Chia Bay, offers luxury for families and the 4-star Hotel Village, nestled in Mediterranean greenery, is a relaxing oasis.  Completely renovated in 2017, Hotel Baia with rooms spread out over the hillside, offers fantastic views of Chia’s sea, lagoon and beaches. Chia Laguna caters exceptionally well for families, with a mini-club, a teens club, a dedicated kids restaurant and lots of sporting activities. Parents can enjoy the spa, wide choice of restaurants and evening entertainment.

Each hotel has its own pool and the beaches surrounding the resort are amongst the most beautiful in the Mediterranean with white dunes, crystal-clear waters, centuries’ old junipers and multi-coloured lagoons. Dune di Campana beach is the reserved for guests of the Hotel Village and the Hotel Laguna, with fine white sand bordered by the dunes, a VIP area for Hotel Laguna guests and easily access via a complimentary transfer. Scuba diving, water sports and mountain biking are available.

Hotel Laguna and the Hotel Village are the best options for families and both offer a choice of rooms. At the Hotel Laguna, the 74 spacious rooms and suites have a balcony, a terrace or a private garden and many connect to accommodate larger families. The Hotel Village’s 240 rooms have been completely renovated in 2020. All rooms are designed with families in mind and furnished in a vibrant Mediterranean style, also with connecting options.

There is a choice of nine restaurants in total, with a Dine Around programme allowing you to sample different cuisine each evening if you wish. La Terrazza specialises in Italian traditions mixed with local produce and has a terrace for al fresco dining; Bouganville is a themed buffet with show cooking and Le Dune serves grilled fish just a few steps from the shore. There is even a dedicated kid’s restaurant, Bimbi, which offers a varied, wholesome buffet and is open for both lunch and dinner. Children’s menus are also available at the main restaurants.

At the complimentary Mini Club (3 – 6 years), kids can play, paint, learn how to make a pizza, and undertake a host of other creative activities together with their new pals. There is a separate club for kids aged 7 – 10 years, with sporting activities and evening shows and teens are also well looked after with organised five-a-side soccer, beach volley, individual and group sports. There is also a nursery for the under 3s, payable locally, and babysitting on request.

Babysitting is available on request and is charged at €20 per hour per child.

The nursery, for babies aged 0 - 2 years, is open daily and is charged at €20 per hour per child.

The complimentary Mini Club is for children aged 3 - 7 and the Cadets Club is for children aged 7 - 10. Lunch is extra at €15 per child.

The resort is pushchair friendly; note that the beach is reached by shuttle bus.

The resort is just over an hour's drive from Cagliari airport.

There is a local paediatrician available as well as a pharmacy in the resort.

There is a separate kids pool for use of all children attending the kids clubs.

The Resort’s Luna Market is stocked with disposable diapers, baby food and baby care products and the pharmacy sells childcare products and medicines.

Infant and child car seats are available on request.

The Junior (11 - 13 years) and Adventure (14 - 17 years) Clubs offer older children a wide range of sporting and other activities. Lunch is extra at €15 per child.
