Often regarded as the pinnacle of the Alps,  Courchevel 1850 is home to the high end ski in ski out Annapurna which welcomes families with open arms. For those keen for some real natural relaxation, a few lengths in the outdoor heated pool is a sublime experience with the Alps as your backdrop. Courchevel 1850 is by far the most popular resort for British travellers. Connecting into Val Thorens and Méribel, there is a huge amount of skiing on your doorstep. Focusing on Courchevel specifically, the resort has 19 green and 35 blue runs which will help you get to grips with the terrain. For more experienced skiers, 34 red and 8 black runs will test your skill levels!

All of the 72 rooms and suites at Annapurna are spacious, many with south facing balconies and stunning mountain views. All rooms have satellite TV, DVD player, radio, telephone, high speed internet, safe, minibar and hairdryer.

While the hotel only features one restaurant and one bar, it is a very vibrant area and has tremendous views of the surrounding mountainous area. The large, sweeping windows in the hotel’s restaurant allow guests to enjoy breakfast whilst watching early risers ski down the piste. Or if that’s not close enough to the action, dining on the outdoor terrace is a truly unique way to enjoy the hotel’s menu of traditional and international cuisine.

The hotel has a large kids club suitable for children up to eight years old, with babysitters available upon request. For slightly older kids there is a games room with computer games, table tennis and pool, that has been recently renovated and kitted out the latest technology.
