About The Hotel
With its own house reef just a few metres from the shore, Lily Beach is in close proximity to some of the most amazing dive sites in the world. Just a short sea plane transfer from Male and with an all-inclusive plan offering fine dining experiences, excursions, sports activities and high-quality products like premium wines and spirits, Lily Beach is ideal for families looking for a hassle-free holiday in the Maldives. With activities including hermit crab races, crafts, water sport activities to treasure hunts, your little ones will be in good hands at the Turtle Kids’ Club and the natural playground at Lily Beach will keep the children entertained while you take some time to yourself.
There is a choice of swimming pools including a shallow kids pool but the real attraction is the warm shallow waters surrounding the island and the house reef which offers some of the best diving on the South Ari Atoll. Tamara Spa specialises in holistic therapies inspired by the various rejuvenating practices of different cultures, techniques and philosophies and there is also a state of the art gym and water sports centre. Families looking to explore can hop on board the traditional dhoni to one of the local islands to get an insight into the Maldivian culture and way of life, or sail at a leisurely pace across the picturesque scenery of the Atoll with its palm-fringed island, sandbanks and snorkel at the colourful coral gardens.
Accommodation is in beach and water villas and the family beach villas are comprised of two spacious interconnecting rooms. Located steps away from the inviting lagoon and close to all the facilities, they have two bedrooms with queen sized and twin beds, outdoor bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and shower and a private deck with direct access to the beach.
There is s choice of four restaurants and three bars, all part of the all inclusive plan. Lily Maa serves a sumptuous buffet with plenty of choice for little ones, Tamarind a la carte restaurant specialises in Indian and Oriental dishes and Teppanyaki offers Japanese show cooking. Les Turquoise D’Aqua is a fine dining restaurant overlooking the sea which has been nominated for the 2016 World Luxury Restaurant Awards. Among the three bars, Vibes Bar is our favourite with its snug sun loungers and umbrellas, light snacks to keep energy levels up and a children’s playground for the little ones.
