About The Hotel

Tucked away on a secluded 100-acre peninsula on the south eastern coast of Antigua, the St. James’s Club Resort & Villas exudes a casual, club-like ambience. This exclusive hideaway caters perfectly to families with plenty of amenities and activities. The resort has a longstanding reputation for exceptional service. Here, guests can retreat from the world or enjoy everything this beautiful island has to offer.

Two white-sand beaches offer a host of fun-filled activities. Coco Beach is like an aquarium for snorkelers, while the calm waters of Mamora Bay are ideal for swimming with little ones. St. James’s Club & Villa provides complimentary non-motorized water sports such as kayaking, pedal boating and catamaran sailing. Families can also make use of the four tennis courts and two 18 hole golf courses as well as chartered Catamaran tours. July to October is Antigua’s Turtle watching season, this is a fantastic time to visit for nature lovers with the opportunity to see newborn turtles hatch and make their journey into the ocean.

Beachfront guests enjoy direct access to the beach and a private balcony or terrace. For families looking for a little more space  St. James’s Club & Villa introduces the new Royal Suites. The Royal suites feature spectacular waterfront views of tranquil Mamora Bay and two new pools. The 1,600 square-foot, air-conditioned two-bedroom villas are a good choice for  families who enjoy a sense of space. Cheery and bright with warm Caribbean tones and terra-cotta tile, the main floor of each villa offers an expansive common area.

St. James’s Club & Villa guests have plenty of choice for dining with four distinctly different restaurants, among them The Docksider, known as much for its panoramic water views and charming nautical décor as its Caribbean-inspired dishes. Those who wish to dine in a more tranquil setting do so the resort’s signature fine dining restaurant, Piccolo Mondo. For casual dining, the  Coco Beach Restaurant & Bar offers sea views and a selection of salads, soups, burgers and pastas.

The St James’s Club Kidz Club is situated in the heart of the resort overlooking Coco’s Beach, purpose built with a fenced in play area. There is also a covered games area located next to the main pool. The Kidz Club is open for children aged 4-11 from 9:15am to 11:00pm so parents can relax in the evenings and leave the children in the care of the Kidz Club for dinner and a movie with their new friends. The experienced staff run a schedule of different activities throughout the day, with the schedule changing weekly.
