A clifftop estate above Falésia beach near Albufeira, about 40 minutes from Faro.

Which villas suit grandparents who aren’t steady on their feet?

Maradiva is the easiest, with every villa on the ground floor. The Hilltop Villas at Apes Hill are all on one level, as is Sugar Beach’s 2-bedroom Ocean View Villa Residence, and Amilla has ramps, beach wheelchairs and an accessibility certification. Pine Cliffs is harder, with a lift and then about 70 steps to the beach.

Which are best for grandparents who play golf?
