About The Hotel
The Fairmont Royal Pavilion, a long established hotel in Barbados, enjoys an enviable beachfront location on the west coast of the island. The interiors display a timeless Caribbean elegance and have generous terraces or balconies with sea views. With connecting suites and an array of leisure activities for adults and children alike, this resort is a great choice for a special holiday. Families are welcomed to the hotel between mid March and October and over the Christmas/New Year period.
In season, the hotel provides a daily program of supervised activities for children aged 4 and over, designed to give parents a well deserved break. Activities included kayaking, soccer, beach cricket, treasure hunts and movies. Aside from this, the 11 acres of beautiful grounds provide ample space for kids to burn off energy. A range of complimentary non motorized watersports are offered at the beach and scuba-diving and swimming with turtles can be arranged at additional cost.
Fine dining is a treat at the stylish Palm Restaurant with its panoramic sea views and delicious local and international fare. During the daytime, enjoy the more informal bistro style poolside dining at Cafe Tabaras which serves breakfast and lunch. For a true taste of Barbados, try the Friday evenings Caribbean buffet with accompanying floor show or enjoy a leisurely Sunday brunch to the gentle sound of the steel band. If your palate is yearning for something British, then a traditional complimentary afternoon tea is also served daily on the Taboras Terrace.
48 Oceanfront Rooms and 24 Beachfront Junior Suites offer all modern amenities and generous accommodation. The Beachfront Junior Suites are ideal for families being larger rooms benefitting from butler service, a special VIP fast track service through the airport and complimentary evening canapés.
