We spent a wonderful two weeks at Martinhal Cascais. Parents came back relaxed and kids came back having done bags of exercise. We had previously been to the Sagres resort on two occasions and found this to be just as good. The Cascais resort feels spread over a larger, greener area and, given its smaller capacity, never felt “busy” despite being full. Cascais also tops Sagres for the great adventure playground. The complimentary kids club was wonderful – committed, friendly and engaging staff. There were also fabulous workshops held down by the large pool, including Lego Robotics which went down a treat. Being smaller, there weren’t lots of group exercise classes for the adults, but we booked individual classes which weren’t a dissimilar price. The only relative downside of Cascais is that it is a short drive to the beach, so you can’t just walk down like in Sagres. But they do put on shuttles. Martinhal really is a winning formula that has yet to be bettered in our view. Would return! -

Overall accommodation was excellent. We picked a good time to travel as the location was very quiet. Pools were great for little ones, especially the one which is half indoors half outdoors. They cater very well for young kids by providing everything you need onsite (buggy, cot, high chair, sterilizer, stair gates, toy boxes, soft play area, play park etc). Everyone there was very friendly and happy to help us if we needed help. -

We all had a lovely time at the Martinhal resort and our only gripe would be that the time went by too quickly. The staff and facilities at the resort were wonderful as were the beaches which we frequented.
We will certainly look at another tots too holiday in the future.
