About The Hotel
The elegant Kulm Hotel St. Moritz stands proudly in the centre of St. Moritz, the original home of winter tourism, with breathtaking views over the nearby lake, comfortable luxury for families and 150 years of tradition. Families are warmly welcomed, with interconnecting rooms, an on-site kids club and specially created menus for little ones. Engadine St. Moritz is considered to be one of the most varied winter regions in Switzerland offering four main peaks and 350 km of pistes, 200 km of Nordic ski trails and 150 km of winter hiking trails.
The Kulm Spa has a heated indoor pool with whirlpool and separate kids’ pool heated to 34 degrees. For an invigorating dip with views of the mountains there is also an outdoor heated pool. There are also steam baths, a Finnish sauna, infrared cabin and hot and cold pools. The well-equipped gym overlooks the mountains and has regular classes including Pilates, Yoga and Core Training. the Upper Engadine is blessed with an abundance of sunshine and thanks to its altitude ranging between 1800 and 3303 metres above sea level, snow is guaranteed. Modern ski lifts ensure minimum of waiting times in a region that’s renowned for its variety – after all, it was here that winter tourism was born almost 150 years ago. Carving paradise, freeride slopes, spacious nursery slopes and a glacier downhill run will thrill ski enthusiasts of any age.
Suites and Luxury Suites are finished in careful detail using the finest materials and equipped with creature comforts for families. Comprised of one or two rooms, a separate living area with dining table, some with their own fireplace and a balcony overlooking Lake St. Moritz, they offer plenty of space for families. There are also connecting rooms for extra privacy.
There are six restaurants in total, offering both fine dining and informal cuisine. The Grand Restaurant is housed in an opulent dining room, an original feature of the hotel, and offers a six-course half-board menu as part of the Gourmet Dine Around program. Choose between variations of Italian cuisine, local Engadine specialties or gourmet delicacies. The Pizzeria serves southern Italian fish and meat specialities, all kinds of pasta and crispy pizza straight out of the wood-fired oven, Chesa al Parc offers Swiss specialities and The K is a gourmet restaurant. Ten minutes’ walking distance from the hotel, the Bob Restaurant is situated right in the starting gate building for the St. Moritz-Celerina Olympic bobsleigh run and serves light and classic lunches. Children are well catered for at all the restaurants and there is the option to have any early dinner at the kids club.
Children aged between 3 and 12 will be kept entertained at the “Marmotta Kids’ Club“. There’s a varied weekly programme with plenty of stimulating entertainment including pizza making, fun and games in the fitness room and creative crafts. Ski school is just a short distance from the hotel and babysitting is available on request.
Cots, highchairs and baby toddler equipment is available on request.
Babysitting is available on request at CHF 35 per hour.
The Marmotta Kids' Club is open daily for children aged 3 - 12 years from 9am until 7pm and includes the option of an early dinner.
Zurich airport is approximately 2.5 hours' drive from the hotel.
There is a separate children's indoor pool.
Child and infant car seats are available for airport transfers.
