The new Worldwide Kids Company run Marco Polo Kids Club, for children aged 3-11, offers a host of outdoor activities and creative arts and crafts options. Just like the explorer Marco Polo himself, children will have the opportunity to explore on both land and sea, with diverse activities including a ‘Marco Polo Treasure Hunt’ and map-making of the local region as well as Croatian dancing and cultural activities. For teens aged 12 – 17, the Hideaway Club offers an array of water-based activities, team sports and surprise events.

Resort facilities are extensive with an onsite supermarket, shops including a hair salon, a pharmacy, 5 pools including one indoor pool and a huge award-winning spa. Spread over 3000m2, The Spa by OCCO at Sun Gardens, Dubrovnik is the first spa in Croatia to use home grown natural beauty products. All products are naturally formulated and inspired by the unspoilt beauty of the Dalmatian Coast and Adriatic Sea. The resort has a natural pebble beach with complimentary loungers, parasols and a VIP section.

The new Sports Centre offers activities for the whole family. There is a huge indoor climbing wall (supervision required) table-tennis, billiards, badminton court, three tennis courts, gaming room, indoor street basketball court, squash court and fully-equipped gym. The sports bar features a home-cinema screen to ensure you never miss your favourite sporting events! Please note that some pools, activities and water sports are seasonal.

Although there is plenty to keep guests entertained at the resort, a trip to Dubrovnik would not be complete without a visit to the Old Town. The hotel offers a payable shuttle service by road, or in season, a boat service with one drop off and return per day. During high season when the temperatures are at their peak, we would recommend an evening visit where the town comes alive with bustling restaurants, music events and a wide choice of ice cream bars!

  • V.W 10 August 2018 Really great resort. The only holiday we have had with children where we feel as though we had a rest. The children loved the kids club in the morning and the pools were great. We went at the beginning of July and by the end of our ten day stay it was getting quite busy to the extent we couldn’t get anywhere to sit by the pool if we arrived in the afternoon. There were signs of some wear and tear but overall it is an amazing place to stay. The rooms were good. All the facilities we needed. The corridors in the blocks with the apartment accommodation were a bit dark and dull but I am being picky. Boat trip from the hotel into Dubrovnik was well worth it. I have already recommended it to friends. Its a fabulous location with amazing facilities which will grow with your family. There were a lot of steep stairs which at the end of a long day were a little tiresome but you can take a slightly longer and winding route back up. We ate and drank mostly in the resort and the bill at the end was really quite reasonable. I think the exchange rate is quite favourable when compared to the Euro and dollar at the moment.

  • M.O.D 18 September 2017 We had a fantastic holiday yet again upon recommendation from Naz and the team in Tots Too, the organisation was first class, the destination was amazing, Sun Gardens Dubrovnik and the weather was fantastic. Looking forward to booking a holiday next year and going somewhere new on recommendation from the Tots Too team

  • KL 30 June 2015 We had a lovely holiday.

The room was perfect with a baby, and the upgraded view was amazing. A great kitchen and balcony so that we could still get some sun while baby slept in the day. The restaurants on site were lovely so I'm pleased we didn't go full board as sampling the variety was great.

The only small negative was navigating the steps with a buggy. There are LOTS of steps and the walk between facilities to try to avoid them is long. Not a major issue as we don't mind walking too much but I think some would, and definitely not wheelchair friendly.

I've recommended you and the holiday to a couple of friends with babies already.

  • L 05 June 2015 Since our return I have been spreading the word about Tots Too and Sun Gardens.

We had a FABULOUS time: accommodation very comfy, clean; amenities (pools, sports' club, play area) excellent; food divine - good choice of restaurants and well-stocked supermarket. People terrific, so amenable! Nothing too much effort and made to feel tremendously welcome and at ease. Most important for a family holiday.

On arrival, there was no steriliser as requested, however, when the hotel realised their error (- none available), they went out and bought a brand new one which was then delivered to our accommodation by the duty manager in record time. VERY impressed.

The only marginally negative feedback I have is in the form of constructive criticism:
If it was possible to pre-order some food shopping and have it ready and waiting in our apartment on arrival, that would be most helpful.

  • ES 09 June 2014 A lovely modern hotel in a really exciting destination. Our room was in the hotel and had amazing views of the sea and was a lovely size. Loved the family pool and the spa and in particular, the terrace bar where we enjoyed a nice sun downer! The food was good but we only got to try one of the restaurants over our short stay, the rest of the time we ate out in the Old Town which was a lovely place to be in the evening. There was no shortage of choice and if you didn't see something you wanted at breakfast, you only had to ask and they went to find it for you. This is definitely the best hotel in Dubrovnik for families and the fact that there is an onsite supermarket and so much on offer.
